What with the increased popularity of CBD oil and hemp-based products as well as discussions about it potentially being made legal and put on the NHS perhaps it’s not that surprising that an ad went up this week looking for a professional spliff roller!
The Hemp Earth Dispensary in Brighton sent out a plea looking for someone who would work for them rolling products that are legal but contain CBD oil. Their ad reads, “We are seeking the crème de la crème of Brighton based spliff rollers to come and join our team.”
To gain some attention for it the health shop decided to run a competition for the best roller, asking all contestants to be able to roll a spliff in under 5 minutes and inviting them to go to the shop tomorrow, Wednesday 27th at 2pm, to take part in a spliff-rolling competition. “You roll, we’ll time you. If you’re the fastest and make the prettiest spliff, then we’ll keep you,” the ad reads. And the competition is almost entirely full already!
The job as a professional roller is part-time (8 hours per month) and would involve rolling all manner of herbal mixtures with proven health benefits for the prospective buyer.
The shop wanted to impress the point that no illegal substances were to be consumed or brought to the shop. Despite them being pro-CBD and legal medicinal marijuana their main point is to promote alternative herbal remedies. The shop is a big advocate of CBD oil.
The professional roller will have to predominantly roll pure blunts of legal herbal products and CBD oil, so entirely legal products and nothing dodgy.
